WE MET THE MATCHING GRANT CHALLENGE!

Twinberry Commons is happy to announce that we were able to meet the matching grant challenge presented to us by the Woodard Family Foundation on April 26th. They awarded us $30,000 and generous donations from our wonderful community allowed us to raise the matching $30,000 by June 15th. Since the April 26th Fundraiser event we have raised a total of $72,000.

THANK YOU TO ALL OUR DONORS!
These funds are essential to ensure that this community project is able to cover overhead costs related to rent, legal and insurance costs, marketing & signage costs, picnic tables for the outside Food Truck Court, as well as staff costs and more. We continue to fundraise, as there are still many needs related to this project; such as eventually hiring more staff, improving indoor seating as well as making the outdoor courtyard usable year round.

The Blackberry Food Coop needs all the support from the community as well in order to raise funds to transition the Coast Fork Farm Stand to the food coop. The community wants to ensure that Scott is taken care of in some way, for all the years of service he has provided the community through his natural food store and conversations are ongoing between him and the Food Coop Board. Become a member to support the process of establishing a Food Coop in town!

Please keep donating if you can and reach out if you have time to volunteer or have ideas to share.
